With a focus on person-centered care, individual needs, and skilled service delivery, the organization works to empower individuals to achieve their personal goals, maintain independence, and participate more actively in their communities Position Purpose The Personal Care Assistant (Aged or Disabled Carer) provides compassionate care and support to elderly individuals and people living with disabilities, assisting them with daily living activities while promoting their dignity, independence, safety, and overall wellbeing.
The role focuses on delivering person-centred care tailored to each individual's needs, preferences, and abilities.
Responsibilities include assisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, mobility, meal preparation, and household tasks such as cleaning and vacuuming.
The position also involves providing companionship, friendship, and emotional support, accompanying clients to daily activities, arranging social and recreational activities, and assisting with shopping and errands.




The Personal Care Assistant (Aged or Disabled Carer) also observes and reports changes in clients' health and wellbeing, ensuring a safe, supportive, and comfortable environment while encouraging social engagement, independence, and an improved quality of life.
There are three vacancies for this role.
Key Duties and Responsibilities • Accompanying aged and disabled persons during daily activities • Assisting clients with their mobility • Preparing food for clients • Arranging social activities • Performing housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming and cleaning • Assisting in personal hygiene and dressing • Providing companionship, friendship and emotional support • May do shopping and run errands • May live in with the person Qualifications and Experience • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability or equivalent).
• Certificate IV in Ageing Support, Disability Support or a related healthcare qualification is desirable.
• Relevant overseas healthcare or nursing qualifications may also be considered, subject to recognition requirements.
• Relevant at least one year of work experience in aged care, disability support, residential care or community healthcare.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Manual Handling and Infection Control training.
• Current National Police Check.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check, where applicable.
