The Job As a Senior Payroll Officer , you'll be part of our HR team in a part-time hybrid role , working 4 days per week (Mon–Thu or Tue–Fri) , for ***** hours per week .
Mondays will be based in our Box Hill head office , with the remaining days worked from home.
We are currently hiring two part-time team members for this role.
Your Duties will include: Processing payroll for 3 of our business entities,



including time and attendance and month/year end requirements Updating payroll databases using Access Micropay Administering Employee Self Service System (ESS) and ensuring compliance with HR/Payroll processes for SOX compliance Managing employee data, journals, and tax payments Ensuring compliance with Awards, legislation, and reporting requirements both in Australia and New Zealand Handling payroll-related queries and ad hoc reporting for managers The Person You love to learn and grow and be acknowledged for your valuable contributions.

You also have: Significant experience in a stand-alone Payroll position including dealing with State Revenue Offices for payroll tax, Workcover authorities, the Australian Taxation Office and Inland Revenue (NZ) Previous experience processing payroll with Micropay A strong knowledge of Australian and New Zealand payroll legislative reporting requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft products Robust attention to detail, time management and organisational skills The Details Discounts on Stanley Black
