The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while maintaining high standards of welding quality, precision, workmanship and safety.
Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to producing durable, high-quality welded products are essential.
Duties and Responsibilities : Your role will include, but is not limited to: Perform MIG, TIG and other welding processes to fabricate and repair agricultural machinery and equipment.
Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and welding requirements.
Measure, mark and prepare metal components for cutting, welding and assembly.
Operate welding equipment, cutting torches, grinders and other metalworking tools.
Position, align and secure metal components to ensure accurate welding and assembly.
Weld steel sections, frames,



brackets and structural components for agricultural equipment.
Repair worn or damaged metal parts on farming machinery, trailers and attachments.
Inspect welded joints for defects, strength and compliance with quality standards.
Finish welded surfaces through grinding, cleaning and polishing.
Maintain welding equipment and follow workplace health and safety procedures.
Essential requirements : Relevant trade qualification AQF Certificate IV with at least one year of relevant experience.
Alternatively, at least three years of full time relevant experience in lieu of a formal qualification.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and welding instructions to carry out work accurately and efficiently.
Ability to weld other metals Ability to maintain high workmanship standards while following workplace safety procedures and meeting project deadlines.
This is a full-time position, an immediate start is available.
A remuneration package of $79,000 - $105,000 per annum is on offer to the successful candidate.
