It provides healthcare across the entire North Queensland region, with patients from as far as Mount Isa and Cape York being airlifted or transported to the hospital on a daily basis.
Located in far northeast QLD, this regional coastal city has approximately 201,433 residents Details Locum Staff Specialist Psychiatrist required for a placement in Northern QLD Health Service from 09/11/2026 to 29/01/2027 working Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30 with no on-call duties.
09/11/2026 08:00 - 29/01/2027 16:30 Monday - Friday No on-calls required.
Role covers Rehabilitation Mental Health Services including Mobile Intensive Rehabilitation Team (MIRT) and residential care units.
