Job Description The Accounts Receivable Officer will be responsible for:



High-volume receipting and cash allocation Maintaining customer accounts and account records Managing aged debt and collection activities Following credit control procedures and company policies Placing accounts on hold where required in accordance with credit guidelines Responding to customer account enquiries Providing support to internal sales teams and external stakeholders Investigating account discrepancies and resolving issues through to completion Building strong relationships with customers ranging from small businesses through to large national organisations The Successful Applicant The successful Accounts Receivable Officer should have: A proven track record within a similar role Strong exposure to cash allocation and receipting Experience managing customer accounts and aged debt Knowledge of collections and credit control processes Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail Confidence handling difficult conversations in a qualified manner A proactive and inquisitive approach to problem-solving
