Pacific Plastic Surgery Clinic is seeking an experienced, professional and highly organised Medical Receptionist to join our specialist surgical practice on a permanent part-time basis.Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in medical reception.
This is an essential requirement.We are a busy plastic and reconstructive surgery practice providing high-quality patient care in a professional and supportive workplace.About the RoleWorking 2 days per week, you will be responsible for supporting the efficient day-to-day operations of our practice and providing exceptional patient service.Key responsibilities include:Managing patient appointments, enquiries and incoming callsCoordinating busy specialist consulting sessionsProcessing Medicare, private health insurance and patient billingManaging patient records, referrals and clinical correspondenceLiaising with surgeons, nursing staff, hospitals and referring practitionersHandling patient enquiries professionally and confidentiallyProviding general administrative support to the practiceMinimum 2 years' experience in a medical receptionist roleSound knowledge of Medicare billing and medical administrationExcellent communicator and customer service skillsStrong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detailAbility to multitask and prioritise competing demandsConfidence working independently in a busy medical environmentA proactive attitude,
