Locum Occupational Therapist - Community & Home Based | Regional Victoria

We're working with a highly supportive regional health service seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a
6-month fixed term contract
within their Rural Allied Health Team. Accommodation is available, making this a fantastic opportunity for both experienced locums and clinicians looking to transition into regional community health work.
$45 - $53 per hour + super
ADOs, annual leave & sick leave included

Regional Victoria location
6-12 month fixed term contract
In this role, you'll work with frail aged clients and people living with disability to maximise independence and safety at home through practical, client-centred interventions. The role is primarily community and home visit based with some clinic appointments.
You'll be joining a collaborative multidisciplinary Rural Allied Health Team delivering services across CHSP, HACC-PYP and limited NDIS funding streams.
Key Responsibilities:
Home safety and functional assessments




Home modifications and assistive technology prescription
Scooter and wheelchair assessments
Care planning and goal setting to support independent living
Working closely with carers, families and multidisciplinary clinicians
Supporting clients to remain active within their local community
Collaborating with Allied Health Assistants for therapy programs and equipment trials
Key Skills & Experience:
Community Occupational Therapy experience
Home visiting experience
Knowledge of Australian Building Standards
Experience with home modifications and equipment prescription
Familiarity with Geat2GO and SWEP
Strong care planning and independent caseload management skills
AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
Current driver's licence
