Lead Mechanical Engineer | Data Centre projects Location: SydneySalary: $220,000 - $240,000 + super and up to 50% bonus potentialOverviewAre you an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in leading Mechanical system design and integration for data centres, or similarly complex, mission critical buildings?
Key Responsibilities: Oversee mechanical engineering across the full project lifecycle, from initial site assessments and equipment cost planning through to design development, construction support and project completion.Develop and coordinate HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems, including technical drawings and engineering specifications.Support tender documentation, construction design,



value engineering and client approval processes.Review and coordinate consultant design packages to ensure technical compliance and alignment with project schedules.Provide in office engineering support during commissioning, final inspections and as-built documentation reviews.Key Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field10+ years in mechanical data centre (or mission critical) designProficiency in CAD (AutoCAD, Revit)Knowledge of BMSFamiliarity with ASHRAE and local building codesStrong problem-solving, project management and communication skillsIf you're ready to take on a role in one of the most exciting and fast-growing sectors in construction, we want to hear from you!
