Paid media is our fastest-growing service, and this role is the first senior hire in it: the person who builds it into a team.What you'll doOwn a book of lead gen clients across Meta and Google: strategy, build, launch, daily optimisation and scaling.Run Summit Tech's own acquisition campaigns, including our website redesign funnel.
Every qualified lead you generate feeds our sales team, and you earn on what closes.Drive lead quality, not just volume.
Work with clients and our CRM (Pipedrive) to track leads through to booked calls and sales.Lead creative testing: brief and build ad concepts, hooks and landing page tweaks, using design and AI creative tools.Set up and maintain tracking: Meta Pixel and Conversions API, Google Ads conversion tracking, GA4 and Tag Manager.Be the client's paid media lead: clear monthly reporting, regular check-ins and honest recommendations.Spot growth opportunities with existing clients, like an extra platform, campaign or budget increase.Build the team: as the book grows, help hire and lead juniors on the path to Head of Paid Media.What you'll bringMust have:4+ years managing paid media,



with at least 2 years agency-sideProven lead gen results on both Meta and Google Ads, ideally for service businesses (legal, health, trades, qualified services)Experience managing multiple client accounts and budgets at the same timeStrong tracking skills: Pixel, Conversions API, GA4, Google Tag ManagerConfident, clear client communication: you can explain results, good or bad, and back your recommendationsA commercial mindset: you think in cost per qualified lead and revenue, not clicksBased in Sydney with full Australian working rightsNice to have:TikTok Ads or LinkedIn Ads experienceGraphic design skills or experience with AI creative toolsCRM experience (Pipedrive, HubSpot or similar)Experience mentoring or leading a juniorHow you get paidYour earnings are uncapped and grow with the results you drive.
Commission is paid monthly and tracked transparently in our CRM, so you always know where you stand.Base salary: $65,000 – $75,000 + super, depending on experience.Client retention commission: monthly commission on every client in your book who stays with us.Funnel commission: commission on every website deal our sales team closes from leads your Summit Tech campaigns generate.
You bring in the leads; we close them.Growth and leadership bonuses: a bonus when your clients add a campaign, platform or budget, plus an override on your team's book once you're leading juniors.A clear path to Head of Paid Media.
