We are committed to delivering reliable automotive services with a strong focus on safety, technical excellence, and customer satisfaction.We are currently seeking a qualified Motor Mechanic to join our team in a full time, long-term position at our Hindmarsh workshop.Key DutiesThe successful candidate will perform duties consistent with the occupation of Motor Mechanic (General), including:Detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in engines, systems, and vehicle componentsDismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other mechanical components for inspectionChecking, testing, and assessing parts for wear, damage, and serviceabilityRepairing and replacing worn, defective, or damaged componentsReassembling mechanical components and engines after repair in accordance with service manuals and manufacturer specificationsPerforming scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrication, filter replacement, and engine tune-ups to ensure smooth vehicle operation and compliance with emission standardsTesting, adjusting,



and fine-tuning mechanical systems and components after repair to ensure proper performance and safetyDiagnosing and testing vehicle systems and components using electronic diagnostic tools and computer-based equipmentInspecting vehicles and, where authorised, issuing roadworthiness assessments or identifying repairs required to achieve complianceResponding to vehicle breakdown service calls when requiredMaintaining accurate service records, job cards, and repair documentationEnsuring all work is completed in accordance with workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements and manufacturer guidelinesSkills & RequirementsCertificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification recognised in AustraliaMinimum 1 year experience in automotive repair or workshop environmentStrong diagnostic skills in mechanical and electrical systemsExperience using computer-based diagnostic toolsAbility to read and interpret service manuals and technical specificationsStrong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanshipAbility to work independently and within a team environmentValid driver's licenceWhat We OfferCompetitive salary based on experience and skillsFull-time stable employment with consistent working hoursProfessional workshop environment with modern diagnostic equipmentOpportunities for training, upskilling, and career development
