The Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced CAD Drafter for an initial three-month contract, commencing as soon as possible.
The role will focus on reviewing, updating and standardising technical drawings across a portfolio of approximately 30 facilities.
Working independently, you will be responsible for converting legacy Public Works drawings into a new drawing standard and producing accurate Works As Executed (WAE) documentation for inclusion within Operations & Maintenance manuals.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented AutoCAD skilled who is available to start immediately, enjoys project-based work and takes pride in producing high-quality, accurate technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Review and interpret existing Public Works drawings and documentationConvert and redraw legacy drawings to align with current drafting standardsProduce accurate Works As Executed (WAE)



drawings for O&M; manualsEnsure consistency and accuracy across drawings for approximately 30 buildingsMaintain drawing registers and project documentationWork autonomously to deliver project outcomes within established timeframes
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Demonstrated experience as a CAD Drafter, Draftsperson or AutoCAD TechnicianStrong AutoCAD proficiency and technical drafting capabilityAbility to interpret existing drawings and replicate drawing standards accuratelyHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality documentationStrong organisational skills and ability to manage your workload independentlyAvailability to commence at short noticeExperience within engineering, manufacturing, utilities, construction, infrastructure or building services environments will be highly regarded
