We're working with a highly supportive regional health service seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a 6-month fixed term contract within their Rural Allied Health Team.

$45 - $53 per hour + superADOs, annual leave & sick leave includedAccommodation availableFleet vehicle, laptop & smartphone providedRegional Victoria location6-12 month fixed term contractIn this role, you'll work with frail aged clients and people living with disability to maximise independence and safety at home through practical, client-centred interventions.
The role is primarily community and home visit based with some clinic appointments.You'll be joining a cooperative multidisciplinary Rural Allied Health Team delivering services across CHSP,



HACC-PYP and limited NDIS funding streams.Key Responsibilities:Home safety and functional assessmentsHome modifications and assistive technology prescriptionScooter and wheelchair assessmentsCare planning and goal setting to support independent livingWorking closely with carers, families and multidisciplinary cliniciansSupporting clients to remain active within their local communityCollaborating with Allied Health Assistants for therapy programs and equipment trialsKey Skills & Experience:Community Occupational Therapy experienceHome visiting experienceKnowledge of Australian Building StandardsExperience with home modifications and equipment prescriptionFamiliarity with Geat2GO and SWEPStrong care planning and independent caseload management skillsAHPRA registration as an Occupational TherapistCurrent driver's licenceThe service operates from a well-established community health setting with strong MDT support, modern resources, access to fleet vehicles and flexible community-based work.Whether you're an experienced locum or someone looking for a rewarding regional contract with genuine work‐life balance, we'd love to hear from you!
