As a PIP Assessor, you'll use your existing clinical knowledge, assessment skills and skilled judgement to understand how a person's physical or mental health conditions affect their daily living and mobility.
You'll carry out structured assessments by telephone, video and face-to-face, review medical evidence and produce clear, objective reports.There's no hands-on care, no nights and no weekends - but this is still a challenging role, with assessment targets, report writing and a strong focus on quality.Why make the move?

You'll:Conduct structured PIP assessmentsExplore how health conditions affect daily living and mobilityReview medical evidence and supporting informationApply clinical reasoning and professional judgementProduce detailed, evidence-based reportsManage your caseload while maintaining quality and accuracyYou won't be providing treatment or hands-on care, and you won't be making the final benefit decision.
Your role is to gather and assess the relevant evidence and provide an objective report; the DWP makes the final decision.Who can apply?
We're looking for experienced:Registered NursesOccupational TherapistsPhysiotherapistsParamedicsPharmacistsYou'll need:You'll need:Active NMC, HCPC or GPhC registrationAt least 12 months' post-registration clinical experienceExperience working with adultsStrong communication and report-writing skillsGood IT skillsStrong clinical reasoning and professional judgementFull UK Right to WorkPlease note: This position is specifically for the registered healthcare professions listed above.
