Due to continued growth, we're looking for a reliable, detail-focused Assistant Accountant to join the Finance Team.This is a practical role for someone who enjoys numbers and reconciliations and wants to build their accounting career in the aged care and disability sector.About the rolePreparing journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliationsCompleting daily, weekly and monthly bank and account reconciliationsAssisting with month-end close and management reportingPreparing BAS, GST and PAYG reconciliationsMaintaining the fixed asset register and intercompany accountsBacking up AP and AR,



including Support at Home claims and billingSupporting audit and compliance requirementsAbout youDegree in accounting, finance or commerce1-3 years' accounting or bookkeeping experienceExperience with reconciliations and Xero, MYOB or similarGood Excel skills and strong attention to detailAble to work independently and meet deadlinesAged care, disability, healthcare or community services experienceSupport at Home or government-funded program experienceMembership of, or working towards, CPA or CALanguages other than English to align with our clients (Chinese, Vietnamese, Khmer)Previous aged care experience is helpful but not essential if you have solid accounting fundamentals and a willingness to learn.What we offerHands-on experience across a multi-entity groupTraining and developmentOpportunity to grow within an expanding organisation
