This role plays a critical part in shaping pricing strategies that directly impact Virgin Australia's commercial performance and bottom line.What you'll be doingIn this role, you'll be a subject matter expert across a portfolio of markets, using data and insight to drive competitive pricing strategies and extraordinary revenue outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:Developing and implementing proactive and reactive pricing strategies to maximise revenue across your portfolio and the broader networkMonitoring competitor activity and preparing timely pricing responses for key markets and distribution channelsAnalysing Virgin Australia data and external sources to identify market performance drivers and revenue opportunitiesFiling and monitoring fares using ATPCo Architect to ensure competitive market positioningWorking closely with the Pricing Distribution team to manage private fares, campaigns, rule changes and complex filingsMaintaining a database of pricing proposals and fare filingsPartnering with Inventory Management and other internal stakeholders to align strategies and optimise revenue outcomesParticipating in regular market performance discussions and providing explicit recommendations on pricing strategyActively contributing to safety, security, resilience and wellbeing initiatives,
