Come and be part of our robust and thriving team.We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Diesel Fitter (7/7 day/night roster) to join our South Walker Creek Maintenance team.You will need to demonstrate sound technical knowledge and experience in equipment operation within a coal mining environment including:A strong commitment to Zero Harm;An ability to work and communicate well in a team environment;Compliance and knowledge with relevant mine site safety procedures, safe work instructions, standard operating procedures, legislation and rules.Undertake preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance, and refurbishment work.Perform diagnostics,



fault finding and quality workmanship on equipment to minimise down time.Complete accurate daily maintenance records and trade shift reporting.Promote and consistently follow the standards and procedures designed to enable you to work safely and effectively every day.Coaching and mentoring of apprentices.Positively influence the development and direction of maintenance strategies and processes to meet site requirements.To be part of our ongoing success you will have:Standard 11 and Coal Board MedicalHave proven experience as a diesel fitter maintaining heavy mobile equipment including but not limited to: Cat Bulldozers, Graders, and LoadersDiesel Fitter Trade qualified with 2 years post trade experience in a mining or similar environmentDemonstrate a proactive approach and a positive outlook to waste reduction and cost effectivenessGeneral computer skills with SAP & Microsoft office programsA passion for safety as a way of life - zero harm focusCompliance and exceptional knowledge of mine safety procedures, regulations, safe work instructions, legislation and rulesMarion Dragline experience (desirable)Leading Hand experience (desirable)What we offer:Excellent working conditions with a focus on safety and quality.7/7 day/night rotating rosterCamp accommodation at Civeo NeboTransport from camp to site providedOur strategy is to focus on creating a safe work environment where our employees feel strongly connected to our values and objectives, and where the capability of our people is key to our success.
