Jabiru is seeking a passionate and capable OSHC Service Manager to lead our welcoming and established service in Waterford West, South Brisbane on a 3-6 month maternity leave contract.
This is the perfect opportunity for a current Service Manager, Educational Leader or experienced Coordinator looking to take the next step in their career while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children, families and educators.

About the Role
As the OSHC Service Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the service while creating an environment where children feel protected, supported and excited to attend each day.
You will:
Lead,



mentor and motivate a team of educatorsBuild positive relationships with children, families and school stakeholdersDrive quality outcomes aligned with the National Quality Framework and My Time, Our PlaceManage programming, compliance and administrative responsibilitiesPromote a strong culture of inclusion, wellbeing and child safetySupport enrolment growth and family engagementCreate a positive and collaborative workplace cultureEnsure the service operates efficiently and successfully every day
Who We're Looking For
You're a confident and people-focused leader who enjoys building strong teams and creating engaging environments for children.
You'll bring:
Previous OSHC leadership experience as a Coordinator, Service Manager or Educational LeaderStrong understanding of the National Quality Framework and OSHC regulationsExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsA proactive and solution-focused approachThe ability to lead, coach and inspire a diverse teamStrong organisational and time-management skillsA genuine passion for children's wellbeing and developmentDiploma in School Age Education and Care, Children's Services, Community Services or ACECQA-approved equivalent (or higher)Current Blue CardCurrent First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain) Experience working within an OSHC, education or children's services setting Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
