Business Development Manager – NSW | ACT Flooring & Landscape Surfacing ProductsA1 Rubber is seeking a Sydney-based Business Development Manager to grow the NSW territory.
This role combines proactive new business development with the prospect to strengthen and expand existing customer relationships.
This is an active, customer-facing sales role with responsibility for finding opportunities, building relationships and converting business.
You'll spend time meeting customers, visiting sites and understanding project requirements, while working closely with sales, customer service and operations teams to deliver on customer expectations.Key responsibilitiesIdentify and win new customers, projects and market opportunities across the territoryGrow existing accounts through additional products, new sites and repeat businessMeet customers on site, present products and recommend suitable solutionsPrepare accurate quotations and follow opportunities through to ordersBuild and manage a healthy sales pipeline, keeping CRM records and follow-up actions currentPlan productive territory visits and travel as requiredShare customer insights, market trends and competitor feedback with the wider teamAbout youProven success in business development,



external sales or account management, with a clear ability to win new businessStrong communication, presentation and relationship-building skillsCommercial judgement and confidence discussing product suitability, pricing and project requirementsThe ability to learn a technical product range and explain its benefits clearlyGood organization, consistent follow-up and confidence using CRM and quoting systems (NetSuite)The initiative to work independently and the willingness to collaborate with colleaguesThe ability to travel throughout your territory for customer meetings and business developmentExperience selling flooring, landscaping products, building materials or related technical products is well regardedAbout usA1 Rubber manufactures rubber products in Australia using recycled rubber from end-of-life tyres.
