ABOUT THE COMPANY.
Our client is an established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with a busy pipeline of residential and commercial projects.
Their collaborative team of experienced engineers works closely together to deliver practical, high-quality outcomes for clients.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
An established consultancy is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team on an initial 3-month contract to assist with their busy pipeline of work.
This is a hands‐on role for an experienced engineer who can pick up live projects and hit the ground running.
There is potential for extension or transition into a permanent position depending on the workload.
DUTIES.
Mechanical services design on residential and commercial projectsCarry out load calculations, duct and fan sizing and equipment selectionsPrepare and review drawings, technical specifications and detailed reportsCoordinate with architects,



other disciplines and the wider project team to resolve design issues and ensure all project requirements are metProvide technical guidance to junior engineersConduct site inspections as requiredSKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualificationComprehensive knowledge of Australian codes and standards (essential)Proficiency with Bluebeam, Camel, Revit and AutoCADStrong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence dealing directly with clients and consultantsCULTURE.
