The National Wine Centre of Australia is looking for a reliable, hardworking Kitchen Steward to join our main kitchen team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Located in Adelaide's East End, the National Wine Centre is one of South Australia's premier hospitality, tourism and events venues.
We host everything from intimate dinners to major functions for up to 1,000 guests, alongside wine experiences, tastings and dining throughout the year.This is a critical behind-the-scenes role supporting our chefs and food and beverage operations across our restaurant, functions, conferences, weddings and special events.About the RoleWashing dishes, glassware, pots, pans and kitchen equipmentKeeping kitchen and back-of-house areas clean, including floors, benches, cool rooms and equipmentRemoving rubbish and recyclingReceiving deliveries and storing stock, pantry items and linenKeeping cleaning chemicals and kitchen supplies stockedHelping the chefs with basic food preparation and setting plates for eventsFollowing food safety,
