This is an opportunity to develop technical and design skills while learning how architectural and engineering plans are transformed into detailed steel frame structures.You don't need previous industry experience.
This opportunity could suit someone who enjoys computers, gaming,



design or figuring out how things fit together and is interested in building a career in construction or manufacturing.What you'll learn:Read and interpret architectural and engineering plans.Create 3D models of steel frame structures.Produce structural steel and installation drawings using AutoCAD.Prepare production files for manufacturing.Prepare fastener lists for frame installation.What we're looking for:An interest in building and construction.Basic literacy and numeracy skills.Clear written and verbal communication.A willingness to learn and a solid work ethic.Reliability and pride in your work.Employer: Australian Framing Solutions (AFS)Hours: Full time, 38 hours per weekWork days: Monday to FridayTraining: On-the-job training providedThis is a excellent opportunity to develop technical skills in 3D design, drafting and steel frame manufacturing while working towards a potential long-term career in the industry.
