The unit provides exposure to a wide range of cardiac and thoracic procedures and includes teaching and supervision of interns and medical students.The role involves peri-operative management, outpatient clinics, operative surgery and research opportunities, with a 1:3 on-call pattern and a fixed-term, full time schedule commencing 1
