Sarina Russo Group is a proudly Australian, privately owned organisation established in ****, delivering employment services, education, training, and allied health services nationally.We arelooking for a proactive and detail-driven Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in a varied and hands-on role.Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Accountant is responsible for providing high-quality financial accounting, management reporting, and compliance across the Group's education, training, employment, and allied health businesses.This role plays a critical part in maintaining strong financial governance, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and supporting effective financial controls across multiple entities.
The Senior Accountant provides valuable financial insight to management, supporting informed decision-making, operational performance, budgeting, forecasting, and the responsible management of Group resources.Working closely with an experienced finance team, this position offers broad exposure to financial reporting, compliance, business partnering, and continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced and well-established organisation.
This full-time position is based in our Brisbane CBD office and requires regular on-site attendance.What You'll Be DoingOversee designated entity and business-unit accounting functionsCoordinate month-end and year-end accounting processesPrepare and review management reports, reconciliations, budgets and forecastsSupport statutory, taxation, audit and contractual financial requirementsMonitor financial performance against budgets, forecasts and contractual expectationsStrengthen financial controls and promote continuous improvementPartner with operational managers across education, training and employment services; andProvide technical guidance and support to Finance team members.What We're Looking ForDegree-qualified in Accounting, Commerce, Business or Finance,
