We're looking for an experienced
Onboarding Coordinator
to join our team in Burswood on a permanent, full-time basis.
Working as part of a small and cooperative team, you'll take ownership of the onboarding and mobilisation process for new starters from the point they sign their contract through to being ready to commence on site.
This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment where you could be managing a high volume of candidates with tight deadlines.
You'll need to be highly organised, comfortable working to deadlines and confident taking ownership of your workload.
With standard office hours and some flexibility to work from home, this is an opportunity to bring your FIFO mobilisation experience into a professional office-based environment without losing the pace and variety of the industry.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Resourcing Lead, you'll work alongside the recruitment team and other Onboarding Coordinators to ensure new starters progress smoothly through the mobilisation process.
Your responsibilities will include:
Taking ownership of candidates from contract acceptance through to mobilisation
Coordinating and monitoring onboarding requirements and ensuring candidates remain on track
Issuing and monitoring site inductions and ensuring all requirements are completed
Following up outstanding actions and proactively addressing delays or issues
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date candidate records in
PageUp
Working with client systems, including
INX
, to manage mobilisation requirements
Coordinating with candidates, clients and internal stakeholders throughout the process
Providing regular updates and ensuring stakeholders are kept informed




Identifying potential mobilisation issues early and taking initiative to resolve them
Ensuring candidates are fully compliant and ready to mobilise before their scheduled commencement
Supporting the wider team with onboarding and mobilisation activities as required
About You
You'll be an experienced onboarding or mobilisation professional who understands what it takes to get FIFO employees from contract acceptance to site.
To be successful, you'll have:
2+ years' experience in onboarding, mobilisation or a similar role
Previous
FIFO mobilisation experience (Essential)
Experience managing
high-volume onboarding processes
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Confidence communicating with candidates, clients and internal teams
A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to take ownership rather than wait to be directed
Experience with
INX (Highly desirable)
Experience with
PageUp or another ATS/onboarding system (Desirable)
Previous recruitment experience is advantageous but not essential
A genuine team-first approach and the ability to work independently
