My client is seeking an experienced claims professional to lead their claims function and play a key role within their leadership team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly proficient claims qualified who enjoys achieving outstanding outcomes for clients while contributing to business strategy and growth.
Reporting directly to the Directors, you will oversee a small team consisting of an experienced Sydney-based claims professional and dedicated offshore support.
This is a hands-on leadership role that combines technical claims management with team leadership and strategic input.
Key Responsibilities
Manage complex general insurance claims from lodgement through to settlement
Advocate for clients and drive optimal claims outcomes
Lead, mentor and support team members
Build strong relationships with clients, insurers and service providers
Conduct quality assurance reviews and oversee workflows
Participate in management meetings and contribute to business growth initiatives
About You
Strong experience managing general insurance claims
Brokerage experience preferred, however candidates who come an insurer background will also be considered




Technical expertise across a range of general insurance products
Proven ability to manage stakeholders and influence outcomes
Strong leadership capability and a collaborative approach
Driven, proactive and committed to delivering exceptional client service
What's on Offer?
Offering salary between $130,000 - $150,000 inclusive of Super
Hybrid working arrangements - 2 days WFH
Leadership position with direct access to the Directors
