The Organisation Our client is an established organisation in the aged care sector, delivering services across a broad client base.
They are seeking an experienced Senior AR Officer with strong aged care billing knowledge to take ownership of billing, claims and collections on a 6 month contract with potential to go permanent.
The Role Reporting to the Finance team, you will own the aged care revenue cycle from billing through to cash collection, protecting revenue and tightening processes along the way.
Responsibilities include:Running the full aged care billing cycle, making sure invoices reflect the correct rates, agreements and funding rulesAnalysing service activity and funding data to pick up errors, exceptions and missed revenue before they become problemsOverseeing funding claims from lodgement to receipt, and following up rejections, short payments and unpaid claimsGetting to the bottom of tricky billing and payment variances, partnering with operations to fix themKeeping on top of the debtors ledger and aged debt,



and pushing older balances to resolutionReconciling debtor accounts and funding receipts so balances are accurate and well supportedContributing to month-end through receivables reconciliations, debtor reporting and billing adjustmentsSpotting patterns in recurring issues and putting fixes in place, including system and automation improvementsKeeping billing documentation audit-ready and compliant with funding obligationsMentoring the wider AR team and helping maintain solid controlsAbout YouHands-on aged care billing and receivables background, with a solid grasp of how aged care funding worksWell-rounded AR experience covering invoicing, claims, reconciliations and collectionsClear communicator who builds good working relationships with finance and operationsQualification in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance or Business (Cert IV or Diploma) desirableHow to Apply Hit APPLY now, or reach out to Rhys Cole at Perigon Group (******) for a confidential discussion.
