Talent Acquisition Consultant – Regional Queensland PortfolioFull-time | 12-month Contract | Brisbane Are you a recruiter who loves building relationships, getting close to the business and making a genuine impact across regional communities?
We're looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to join our Queensland Talent Acquisition team, based in Brisbane with a dedicated focus on supporting our regional Queensland businesses.
This is a broad and diverse recruitment role supporting our regional offices and teams across Transport, Energy, Industrial (Resources), Water, Environment & Land and Buildings.
You'll recruit across a diverse mix of engineering and professional disciplines, partnering closely with regional leaders to help build the capability our growing teams need.
Importantly, you'll also play a key role in developing our regional early careers pipeline, supporting Graduate and Intern recruitment and building solid relationships with universities and emerging talent across Queensland.Some travel to our regional Queensland offices and university locations will be required, giving you the opportunity to build strong relationships on the ground and stay connected to the communities and talent markets you support.
About the RoleAs a trusted talent partner to our regional teams, you will:Lead end-to-end recruitment across Transport, Energy, Industrial (Resources), Water, Environment & Land and BuildingsRecruit across a broad range of engineering, technical and qualified disciplines, from early careers through to experienced hiresPartner closely with regional leaders and hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop practical,



targeted recruitment strategiesProactively source and engage talent across regional Queensland and broader national marketsSupport Graduate and Intern recruitment, helping identify and attract the next generation of regional talentBuild relationships with universities, students and relevant industry networks across QueenslandRepresent Aurecon at career fairs, university events and regional talent initiativesProvide market insights and recruitment advice to help leaders navigate challenging and talent-short marketsUse recruitment systems, technology, data and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and candidate experienceSupport consistent recruitment processes, governance and best practice across our regional offices About YouWe're looking for a recruiter who enjoys variety, autonomy and being genuinely connected to the business.You'll ideally bring:Strong recruitment experience gained within an in-house, agency or combined environmentExperience recruiting professional, technical or engineering talentConfidence managing a broad portfolio of roles across different disciplines and levelsStrong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with regional and senior leadersA proactive sourcing mindset and confidence approaching passive talentAn interest in Graduate, Intern and early careers recruitmentStrong communication,



influencing and relationship-building skillsExperience using recruitment systems and ATS platforms, with Workday experience highly regardedConfidence using emerging technology, AI-enabled tools and data insights to support smarter recruitmentAn agile, solutions-focused approach and the ability to adapt as regional hiring priorities changeFlexibility to travel within Queensland as requiredExperience recruiting within engineering, infrastructure, transport, resources, water, environment or buildings would be highly regarded.
