About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic Primary Teachers to support our network of schools across Canberra.

- Primary Teachers – Kindergarten to Year 6.
- Independent and Faith Based Schools.
- Opportunities across Canberra and surrounding suburbs.
- Casual day-to-day and block bookings available.
- Supportive schools with welcoming staff.
- Flexible opportunities to suit your availability.

Skills and experience
To be considered for these opportunities, you will need:

- A recognised Primary Teaching qualification or an approved pathway towards qualification.
- Current ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration or eligibility to obtain registration.
- A valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
- Australian working rights.
- Professional, adaptable and passionate approach to teaching.
- Confidence managing a classroom and building positive relationships.
- A genuine commitment to student learning, wellbeing and child safety.

New graduates and final-year teaching students are encouraged to apply, subject to meeting the relevant registration and employment requirements.




Compliance requirements
Before commencing a teaching placement, successful applicants will need to provide:

- Evidence of teaching qualifications.
- Current TQI registration or an approved Permit to Teach, where applicable.
- Current ACT WWVP registration.
- Evidence of Australian working rights.
- Professional referees.
- Completion of relevant child protection and school-specific compliance requirements.
