About The Role

As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you’ll serve food and drinks and provide outstanding customer service in our Abbey Tavern, Ale House and other pop ups throughout the Castle.

These are hands-on customer facing roles.

You’ll need to be available for shifts that will be offered on weekends and through school holidays, as well as for evening functions, public holidays, and other special events.

In this role you will:

- Confidently and enthusiastically interact with guests – greeting each customer, taking orders, preparing and delivering food, coffee and other drinks, and handling payments.

- Ensure our food service areas are always clean and well presented.

- Work with the kitchen and F&B; leaders to ensure all aspects of Kryal Castle’s food and beverage offering is delivered in a skilled manner.

What We’re Looking For





- 6 months of experience in a similar F&B; role in a café, pub, or restaurant.

- Barista skills preferred

- A passion for guest experience and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.

- Strong communication skills and an ability to engage with all our guests.

- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Requirements

- Availability on weekends and during school holidays, across morning, daytime and evening shifts.

- Food Safety Knowledge, a current RSA, and a Working with Children Check (Employee version).

- Reliable transport to Kryal Castle.

Pay Rates:

- Casual (Adult) pay rates from $32.18 per hour to $33.85 per hour depending upon position.

- Penalty rates apply for Sundays ($45 – 47/hour Adult) and Public Holidays ($70 – 74/hour Adult)

- Pay rates for employees under 20 years old will follow the applicable age-based Award rates.
