This is an opportunity for a technician who enjoys fault finding, solving problems and taking ownership of their work, while delivering a great experience for customers.

About the role

Working across residential customer sites throughout Melbourne's western suburbs, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, servicing and repairing a range of heating and cooling systems.

You'll manage jobs from start to finish, ensuring faults are properly identified, repairs are completed to a high standard and customers understand the work being carried out.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Diagnosing and repairing faults across split systems,



multi head and ducted heating and cooling systems.
- Carrying out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance.
- Applying strong refrigeration and electrical fault-finding skills to resolve issues.
- Providing on site quotes for repairs, upgrades and replacement systems.
- Offering honest advice and practical solutions that suit the customer's needs and budget.
- Keeping customers informed throughout the job and ensuring a professional experience.
- Completing job documentation and maintaining accurate service records.
- Supporting apprentices and sharing your knowledge where required.

About you

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship and understands that good customer service is just as important as getting the technical work right.

You'll ideally bring:

- A relevant HVAC or refrigeration trade qualification.
- Proven experience in HVAC servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repairs.
- Strong knowledge of residential heating and cooling systems.
- Sound electrical and refrigeration fault-finding skills.
- Current driver's licence and White Card.
- The ability to work independently, manage your day and take ownership of jobs.
- Good communication skills and confidence dealing directly with customers.
