About the Role

BMD is looking for experienced Civil Supervisors to support the growth of our major infrastructure operations across Adelaide and South Australia. This is a frontline construction leadership role suited to experienced supervisors who understand what positive project delivery looks like and can turn programs, drawings and methodology into safe and productive work on the ground.

Your role will include:

- Lead daily civil construction activities.
- Coordinate crews, subcontractors, plant and resources.
- Plan upcoming works with engineering and project teams.
- Monitor construction productivity and progress.
- Ensure works meet drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
- Lead site safety and pre-start activities.
- Identify construction constraints and resolve issues early.
- Coordinate interfaces between different work fronts.
- Build a productive and accountable site culture.

About You

To be successful, you will bring:





- Certificate IV in Civil Construction, Supervision (RII40720), or equivalent, will be highly regarded.
- Significant experience delivering civil construction and infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated experience supervising crews and subcontractors on major projects
- Experience gained within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contracting environment, or comparable major infrastructure delivery environment
- Strong practical knowledge of civil construction methodologies, sequencing and site operations
- The ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and construction programs
- Demonstrated safety leadership and understanding of site risk management
- Strong planning, coordination and practical problem-solving capability
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with engineering and project teams
- Experience across earthworks, roadworks, drainage, utilities, structures, pavements or other major civil infrastructure will be highly regarded.
