About the Practice

Our client is a well-established paediatric dental group operating across South Perth, Karrinyup and Mount Hawthorn, with 13 dental chairs across three contemporary practices.
With a team of approximately 30–35 staff, the group has built a strong reputation for providing high-quality dental care to children, including those who experience dental anxiety or have additional needs.
The practices have excellent staff retention, a collaborative culture and a strong emphasis on supporting clinicians through ongoing training and professional development.

They are now looking for an Oral Health Therapist to join their team, replacing a long-standing clinician who is retiring.

About the Position

- 4 - 5 days per week, with the option to work two Saturdays per month (a bonus!)
- Working alongside experienced specialist paediatric dentists, with dedicated Dental Assistant support.
- Treating approximately 10–15 patients per day, depending on appointment types and treatment requirements.
- Providing preventive and therapeutic dental care to children of varying ages and clinical needs.
- Supporting children with dental anxiety, behavioural challenges and additional needs.
- Opportunity to develop skills in nitrous oxide sedation and more complex paediatric treatments through appropriate training and supervision.
- Approximately one month of shadowing and structured onboarding to help you settle into the role.
- Salary negotiable depending on experience, with annual remuneration reviews.
- Flexibility across the three Perth locations, taking commuting preferences into consideration.

About You





We welcome applications from both experienced Oral Health Therapists and those looking to further develop their skills in paediatric dentistry.
Candidates from school dental service backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.

Ideally, you will have:

- A recognised Oral Health Therapy qualification and current AHPRA registration.
- Confidence administering local anaesthetic.
- A genuine interest in working with children and creating positive dental experiences.
- Strong communication and patient management skills.
- Experience managing anxious children or patients with additional needs would be advantageous.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to learn from experienced specialists.
