My client is a well-established Australian business specialising in the onsite servicing, installation and replacement of hydraulic and industrial hoses, fittings and associated products.

We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Mobile Service Technician to join their team based in Blackwater, QLD.

This is a field-based opportunity suited to someone with a mechanical background and experience in mechanical fitting, hydraulics, hose assembly, fluid power or a similar trade. Relocation or DIDO arrangements are available, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates based locally or those looking to relocate to the Central Queensland region.

About the Role:
As a Mobile Service Technician, you will travel to customer sites throughout the local mining and industrial area, providing onsite hose assembly, installation, servicing and replacement. You'll enjoy a varied role combining practical mechanical work, customer interaction and independent field service.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Attending customer sites to carry out hose servicing, repairs and replacements
- Assembling and installing hydraulic and industrial hoses and fittings
- Using hand tools, measuring equipment and service machinery
- Maintaining and operating the Mobile Service Unit
- Completing service documentation and work orders
- Delivering professional customer service and maintaining strong client relationships
- Following workplace health, safety and quality procedures
- Participating in a rotating on-call roster

You will ideally have:

- Previous experience in mechanical fitting, hydraulics, fluid power,



hose assembly or a similar field
- Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills
- Experience using hand tools and measuring equipment
- A current manual Australian driver's licence
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good time management and organisational skills
- A reliable work ethic with a strong focus on quality and safety
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia

Desirable:

- Hydraulic hose or fluid power industry experience
- Familiarity with hydraulic hoses, fittings and associated products
- Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or a related qualification
- Hose Assembly & Installation or Fluid Power qualifications
