About us

Absolute Workforce (AWS) is the labour hire division of Versatile Group, and we’re growing fast. We supply quality crews to some of Sydney’s best projects, including high-end residential, 30-storey towers and resorts.
We’re building this division properly from the ground up. That means transparent systems, high standards and a team that backs each other. We want people who take pride in running a tight, safe site.

The role

You’ll be our eyes and ears on site. You’ll lead our labour hire crews day to day, keep them safe and productive, and make sure our clients are happy with the people we send. It’s a hands-on, visible role, and it suits someone who likes being out on the tools side of things rather than stuck behind a desk.

What you’ll be doing

- Running day-to-day supervision of AWS crews across client sites
- Doing weekly Quality & Safety Audits (PPE, SWMS, White Cards, inductions, housekeeping) and fixing issues on the spot
- Making sure SWMS, risk assessments and inductions are sorted before anyone starts
- Working closely with our Allocations Manager so every shift has the right workers
- Flagging no-shows, late arrivals and safety issues straight away

- Checking timesheets on site so payroll runs smoothly
- Building strong relationships with site managers and handling client concerns professionally
- Sending daily and weekly updates to the BDM

What we’re looking for

- 3+ years as a Site Supervisor or Leading Hand in labour hire, construction or similar
- Solid working knowledge of WHS and site safety
- Experience running or supporting safety audits and inductions
- Confident talking to clients, workers and office staff alike
- Reliable, organised, and a stickler for safety
- White Card (essential), current driver’s licence and own vehicle (confirm these)

What’s in it for you

- Competitive salary
- Vehicle / fuel card
- Work on quality projects with reputable builders
- A real say in how things are done in a division that’s still being shaped
- Supportive leadership with decades of industry experience behind it
- Room to grow as AWS expands, including into QLD
