Personal Care Assistant (PCA / AIN) – Cert IV | Local Shifts in Newcastle & Central Coast

About the Role
Are you a Certificate IV qualified AIN or Personal Care Assistant looking for local shifts closer to home?
We are currently seeking experienced Cert IV Care Workers to cover casual and agency shifts across residential aged care facilities and community care providers throughout Newcastle and the Central Coast.
Whether you’re looking to pick up extra shifts around your current job, fit work around family, or build a full-time casual schedule, you choose when and where you work.
Key Responsibilities

- Provide high-quality, person-centred care to aged care residents and clients.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), personal hygiene, mobility, and nutrition.
- Administer medications safely under delegation (where qualified/authorised under your Cert IV scope).
- Maintain accurate care plans, client documentation, and shift handovers.
- Support client independence, dignity, and overall well-being.

Requirements

- Qualifications: Certificate IV in Aged Care, Disability, or Individual Support (or equivalent higher nursing qualification).
- Experience: Minimum 6 months of paid experience in Australian residential aged care or home care settings.
- Compliance & Clearances:

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and/or National Police Check.
- Current First Aid & CPR certifications.
- Up-to-date immunisation records (including Influenza and COVID-19 as required by health directives).
- Valid Australian Work Rights.

- Mobility: Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license preferred for community shifts.
