About the role
We are looking for a proactive and solutions-focused Inventory & Systems Lead to take ownership of stock integrity and warehouse systems at our Regional Fulfilment Centre in Redbank. In this influential role, you will lead cycle counting, investigate stock variances, strengthen inventory processes and support the ongoing optimisation of automation and ERP platforms, including AutoStore and M3.

Working closely with operations, finance, audit, IT and our branch network, you will turn data into action, coach teams in best practice and drive continuous improvements that lifst operational performance and customer outcomes.

What you’ll do

- Lead the cycle count program, ensuring counts, investigations and closures are completed accurately and on schedule
- Maintain high levels of location and SKU accuracy while managing stock variances within approved thresholds
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, branch claims and customer claims within required timeframes
- Manage quarantine, damaged stock, returns and write-offs in line with company policy
- Analyse inventory performance and identify opportunities to improve slotting, picking, replenishment and productivity
- Prepare regular reports on inventory operations,

- Develop practical procedures, checklists and training materials, and coach warehouse teams in correct stock-handling processes
- Provide first-level systems support to the operations team and act as a subject matter expert for AutoStore, M3 and related warehouse technologies
- Support system readiness, commissioning, risk assessments and process improvements across the site

What you’ll bring

- Three to five years’ experience in warehouse, logistics or distribution operations
- Demonstrated experience in inventory control, stock management and cycle counting
- Experience using ERP or warehouse management systems; exposure to M3 and automated warehousing will be highly regarded
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail
- The ability to lead, coach and influence operational teams while maintaining high standards
- Clear, professional communication skills and the confidence to work with stakeholders at all levels
- A proactive, organised and collaborative approach, with the drive to challenge the status quo and get things done
