HBG are representing a leading developer and builder specializing in large-scale residential projects. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality developments, they are expanding their team and looking for a Foreman to manage and oversee the day-to-day activities on-site, ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. They have a strong pipeline of work well inot the future and are keen to secure a robust foreman with large-scale Class 2 experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage the construction of structural elements, including steel, concrete, and timber works.
- Supervise, lead, and coordinate a team of site operatives, sub-contractors, and other on-site personnel.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide progress updates and address any issues or concerns.
- Review and interpret drawings and specifications to ensure work is completed to the correct standards and within deadlines.
- Plan, organize, and prioritize daily tasks to ensure efficient and effective workflow on-site.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
- Resolve any technical issues or problems that arise during the construction process.
- Ensure all materials, tools, and equipment are available and properly maintained.
- Maintain accurate site records,



including daily logs and safety reports.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, quality control, and high safety standards.

Ideal Candidate:

Qualifications and Requirements

- Minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience in construction, preferably residential apartments.
- Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish, with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
- Experience working in a Tier 2 main contractor or developer/builder is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in construction documentation (construction, program, quality, safety).
- Exceptional time management skills to oversee every aspect of the project without compromising site presence.
- Strong leadership skills, providing clear direction and support to the team to drive outstanding outcomes.
- Background in carpentry, offering a solid foundation for overseeing finishing trades.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Building Codes and Australian Standards.
- Proficiency in construction planning, ideally with MS Project.
- Experience delivering similar projects in Australia with project values over $50 mil.
