Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a dedicated Staff Specialist in Rheumatology to join our team at Concord Repatriation General Hospital!

The primary purpose of the role is to provide high quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services in Rheumatology and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Rheumatology Department and Hospital as required.

The Staff Specialist will be required to have a demonstrated commitment to clinical research in Rheumatology. They will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic setting which supports education, research and professional development.

The successful applicant will be a current registered Medical practitioner, registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) with recognised qualifications in Rheumatology and/or other equivalent specialist recognition as provided for in the NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award.

Position will be available from February 2027. In addition, applicants expecting to be awarded their Fellowship within two months from the beginning of the 2027 Clinical Year on 1 February 2027, may be considered.





Salaryand conditions are in accordance withthe NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award.
