What You'll Be Doing

This position supports the development of research activities within the NSW Voluntary Assisted Dying Support Service (NVSS),



in alignment with current LHD Strategic priorities. The role will support many facets of research administration and will also be involved in conducting research. The position will:

- Identify potential research funding sources and support the generation of very high quality, competitive grant applications.
- Manage clinical research in the NVSS
- Evaluate the scientific merit and financial viability of potential research projects
- Plan, initiate and oversee the conduct of research projects in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Provide support, direction and education to NVSS staff and the wider VAD Network in the area of research.
- Promote professional standards of research, practice and conduct.
- Contribute to the strategic outcomes of NSLHD.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply. Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria

- Describe your experience conducting and managing high-quality research including your contribution to research projects and peer-reviewed publications.
- PhD or research based equivalent experience in a Science or Health related discipline and track record of conducting and managing high quality research yielding peer reviewed publications
