Are you an experienced finance professional available now to support this not-for-profit, where you can make a valuable contribution?

A dynamic and exciting organisation with 25 staff across service delivery, retail and support. Initially Temporary on either full time or part time hours (0.8 FTE)

About the Role …

Reporting to the Senior Finance and Business Partner, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day finance function, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and financial records are maintained.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Processing accurate and timely fortnightly payroll.
- Managing accounts payable, including invoice processing, coding and payment preparation.
- Preparing and processing accruals and month-end adjustments.
- Completing bank, balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations.
- Assisting with monthly financial reporting and month-end processes.

About You …

You are a hands-on finance professional with robust technical skills,



excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

You will bring:

- Demonstrated experience in payroll, accounts payable and reconciliations.
- Sound knowledge of accruals and month-end processes.
- Minimum 4 years in accounting, finance, analysis and audit.
- Experience supporting financial reporting.
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency in accounting software, ideally Xero.
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience in the not-for-profit sector will be highly regarded and CPA/CA preferred.

Current Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance are required.
