About the role
Airmar (a company of the Amphenol Corporation) is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator who will support the Sales Manager in managing customer, sales, administrative and warehouse activities across the Australia and New Zealand territories. Additional support to the APH warehouse is to be expected in this role.
This position will be based at our Amphenol parent office in Carrum Downs, Victoria. This hands-on role will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, receiving and dispatching goods, preparing customer orders, and providing reliable administrative and operational support to the sales team.
Key responsibilities
- Receive incoming goods and check deliveries against purchase orders and documentation
- Inspect goods for quantity, condition and accuracy, reporting any discrepancies or damage
- Enter received goods into the relevant inventory or computer system
- Replenish stock on warehouse shelves and maintain orderly storage locations
- Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare shipping labels, delivery documentation and related paperwork
- Coordinate freight and courier bookings when required
- Maintain a clean,
safe and well-organized warehouse and work area
- Assist with stock takes, cycle counts and inventory adjustments
- Monitor stock levels and advise the Sales Manager of low-stock or replenishment requirements
About you
- Previous experience in warehouse, administration, sales support or a similar role
- Forklift certified, or willingness to obtain a forklift certification at company's expense
- Good computer skills, including confidence in using email, Microsoft Office and inventory or order management systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Valuable organization and time-management skills
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically capable of undertaking regular warehouse duties, including lifting and moving cartons within safe manual-handling limits
- Reliable, punctual and willing to adopt a hands-on approach
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
