Animal Emergency Service (AES) Coomera is a new, purpose-built 24/7 emergency veterinary hospital being developed on the northern Gold Coast. Through our open hospital approach, we aim to make care more visible, communication more open, and pet owners more involved in their pet’s emergency care journey, where safe and appropriate.
Located within the Coomera Home Ideas Centre, the hospital has been thoughtfully designed to deliver exceptional patient care, strengthen connections with pet owners, and foster a team-oriented environment for veterinary teams.

About the role
As part of this exciting next chapter, we are seeking Emergency and Critical Care Veterinarians to join our opening team.
Emergency care is about more than clinical treatment. It is also about helping owners understand what is happening, the options available, and what may come next. You will work as part of a team that recognises each client as an integral part of their pet’s journey, keeping them informed and inviting appropriate participation in treatment decisions.

About You

- -Registered Veterinarian with Australian registration (BVSc or equivalent)
- -Ideally 3+ years post-graduation experience, Ideally 1-2 years + of ECC experience or an experienced GP veterinarians with a strong interest in ECC
- -Proven emergency and critical care foundations with the ability to manage a broad range of emergency presentations
- -Confident clinical decision-maker who remains calm under pressure
- -Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- -Comfortable working evening, overnight, and weekend shifts
- -Curious, motivated, and committed to ongoing learning
- -A great sense of humour and a genuine passion for patient care and teamwork
