Animal Emergency Service (AES) Coomera is a new, purpose-built 24/7 emergency veterinary hospital being developed on the northern Gold Coast. Through our open hospital approach, we aim to make care more visible, communication more open, and pet owners more involved in their pet’s emergency care journey, where safe and appropriate.
Located within the Coomera Home Ideas Centre, the hospital has been thoughtfully designed to deliver exceptional patient care, strengthen connections with pet owners, and foster a collaborative environment for veterinary teams.

About the role
As part of this exciting next chapter, we are seeking Emergency Veterinary Nurses to join our opening team.
Emergency care is about more than clinical treatment. It is also about helping owners understand what is happening, the options available, and what may come next. You will work as part of a team that recognises each client as an integral part of their pet’s journey, keeping them informed and inviting appropriate participation in treatment decisions.




Veterinary Nurses will work a mix of day and night shifts across weekdays and weekends in our fast-paced emergency hospital. Permanent and casual positions are available.

About You
We’re looking for skilled Veterinary Nurses with ECC experience who are confident and capable. You will have:

- -Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or a Bachelor of Veterinary Technology
- -Proven ECC nursing experience, or previous GP nursing experience
- -Previous experience in an emergency environment would be desirable
- -Confidence working within a busy emergency hospital environment
- -Strong communication and multitasking skills to manage the agile nature of emergency cases
- -Reliable transport and flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights and weekends
