We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Education Assistant to join us in a permanent position commencing 1 January 2027. This position is negotiable between 0.6 to 1.0 FTE for the successful applicant.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Demonstrate care, compassion and regard for students' spiritual, emotional and social development.
- Support and promote student wellbeing within a safe and nurturing learning environment.
- Work closely with students with special needs in a sensitive, encouraging and supportive manner.
- Build positive relationships with families, students and colleagues to achieve strong outcomes.
- Support students to develop organisational and study skills through consistent encouragement.
- Collaborate with teachers and colleagues to support student progress, wellbeing and positive outcomes.

Essential Selection Criteria:

- Demonstrate a committed Christian faith by actively supporting the College’s Christian life and aligning with the Association’s Statement of Faith, Christian Lifestyle Statement, and educational objectives.
- Solid interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Commitment to the establishment and maintenance of quality relationships with students, staff,



parents and the wider community.
- Be a self-motivated learner with a willingness to develop as an educator.
- Hold a Certificate III or Certificate IV in Educational Support (or equivalent).
- Holds a current Working with Children card, and Department of Education Criminal History Check, or willingness to apply.
