Location: Based at Eldercare Head Office, Eastwood | Travel across Eldercare Retirement Living sites required
Remuneration: $94,300 (pro rata: $75,440 for 0.8 FTE) + salary sacrifice + generous travel allowance
At Eldercare, our purpose is simple but powerful: to deliver peace of mind with our care.
We are committed to delivering exceptional care and support to older South Australians. As one of the state’s leading aged care providers, we foster a compassionate and inclusive work environment where every team member is valued.
By joining Eldercare, you'll become part of a team that prioritises integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
About the Role
Eldercare is seeking a passionate and relationship-focused Retirement Living Sales Coordinator to help prospective residents navigate one of life's most important transitions. This is a unique opportunity to combine sales, customer service, marketing and community engagement while making a genuine difference to the lives of older South Australians.
In this role, you will manage the entire resident journey into retirement living, from initial enquiry through to contract completion and key handover. You'll build meaningful relationships with prospective residents and their families, maintain ongoing engagement with waitlists, conduct village tours and open inspections, coordinate sales events, and work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure homes are presented and delivered to a high standard.
No two weeks will look the same. You may be attending community expos, showcasing retirement living villages, following up enquiries, coordinating property refurbishments, reviewing marketing campaigns, facilitating resident inspections, or working with village and project teams to prepare homes for new residents. You'll play a key role in driving occupancy across Eldercare's retirement living portfolio while providing an exceptional customer experience at every stage of the journey.
About You
You are a warm,
genuine and highly organised professional who thrives on building meaningful relationships and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Rather than a transactional sales approach, you understand the value of trust, empathy and ongoing engagement, recognising that prospective residents may remain on a waitlist or in the decision-making process for months or even years.
You are comfortable managing multiple priorities and can remain calm and qualified in a fast-paced environment. With strong attention to detail, you can confidently navigate contracts, documentation and legislative requirements while ensuring customers feel supported and informed throughout the process.
We're looking for someone who is driven by people outcomes rather than commissions and who genuinely enjoys helping others through significant life transitions. Experience in sales, account management, customer relationship management, retirement living, aged care, hospitality or other relationship-based environments will be highly regarded.
To be successful, you'll bring:
- Demonstrated experience achieving sales or customer engagement outcomes.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Strong relationship-building and networking capability.
- High levels of organisation, resilience and attention to detail.
- Confidence managing a pipeline of enquiries and maintaining ongoing customer contact.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- A cooperative approach and the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- A current driver's licence, reliable vehicle and willingness to travel across metropolitan Adelaide and regional South Australia as required.
Most importantly,
you'll be someone who embodies Eldercare's values through a caring, authentic and customer-centred approach, taking pride in creating positive experiences for residents and their families.
What we can offer you:
- A meaningful role helping older South Australians find a place to call home
- A diverse, relationship-focused role with autonomy and variety
- A supportive, values-driven team culture
- Professional development and career growth opportunities
- Car allowance and not-for-profit salary packaging benefits
- Discounted health insurance and wellbeing support
