Corporate Development VP / Director - Global Technology/Data Centre Business - Sydney

Our client is a rapidly growing global technology company that develops and operates data centres servicing some of the world's largest and most influential technology businesses.

- Lead major development opportunities: Take ownership of material deals from initial formation through to approval and execution across APAC.
- High level of stakeholder exposure: Work closely with senior executives, shareholders, customers, government stakeholders and external capital partners.
- Commercial leadership: Bring together global teams, lead negotiations and drive complex opportunities through to successful execution.

We are exclusively partnering with a rapidly scaling, infrastructure-backed technology platform operating across the Asia Pacific region. The business is a market leader in its sector, extremely well capitalised, and continuing to expand into recent markets.

This Sydney based VP / Director, Origination role will play a key leadership position within the business.



The role has responsibility for leading material development opportunities across the market, acting as the Deal Captain from initial formation through to formal approval and execution, before handover to the strategic delivery team.

The role has a broad commercial remit, leading major opportunities from origination through to execution. You will work closely with senior internal and external stakeholders, drive commercial negotiations and oversee the key strategic and financial considerations required to progress each opportunity.

The ideal candidate will bring approximately 10+ years of experience across investment banking, private equity, corporate development or principal investing. They will have a track record originating, structuring and negotiating complex development, infrastructure, real estate or data centre opportunities. You will have strong commercial and financial acumen, experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive transactions in a fast paced, global environment.
