Purpose: establish and lead the Ways of Working function and champion ongoing improvement in program effectiveness and efficiency.
Seniority: Principal.
Reports to: Program Director.
Responsibilities
- Baseline flow metrics: cycle time, throughput, work in progress, dependency wait and predictability.
- Map the program value stream to find where work waits.
- Run a prioritised improvement backlog as measured experiments with program leadership.
- Write successful changes into the Registry Connect Ways of Working.
- Transfer the function to an ASIC lead before exit.
Essential
- led agile or lean ways of working transformation at program or portfolio scale with measured results.
Desirable
- scaled agile frameworks; flow metrics tooling; government delivery environments.
