We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to step into a hands-on Site Supervisor role with an established commercial builder based in Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs.
The business specialises in commercial refurbishments, school projects and make-safe works, employing approximately 90 direct staff with projects across Victoria.

This is a great prospect for a Carpenter who enjoys a mix of hands-on work and supervising trades, coordinating sites and delivering projects to a high standard.

The role will initially be offered on a contract basis, with the opportunity to transition to permanent employment.
Key Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day site operations across commercial projects.
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site personnel.
- Undertake hands-on carpentry when required.
- Ensure safety, quality and project timelines are maintained.
- Liaise with project managers, clients and stakeholders.
- Coordinate labour, materials and scheduling.
- Travel to regional Victorian sites when required.

About You




- Qualified Carpenter with commercial construction experience.
- Previous site supervision or leading hand experience.
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example.
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety.
- Current White Card, driver's licence and Working with Children Check.
- Willingness to travel across Victoria.
