Mai Gai is looking for Part Time Shift Leader

You will help lead the team during service, support daily restaurant operations, and ensure every guest receives friendly and effecient service

Key Responsibilities:

- Leading and Supporting FOH staff during service

- Allocating sections, breaks, and daily responsibilities

- Opening and Closing the restaurant

- Managing the flow of service

- Handling bookings, customer enquiries and special requests

- Resolving guest concerns professionally

- Taking orders, serving food, and drinks and processing payment

- Ensuring staff follow service, cleanliness and RSA standards

- Communicating with the kitchen and bar through out service

- Completing cash up and end of shift procedures

- Reporting shift updates or operational concerns to management

Who were looking for:

- Previous experience as shift leader, supervisor,



or senior waitstaff member

- Strong Leadership and communication skills

- current QLD RSA

- Confident using POS and booking systems

- Ability to remain calm and organised during busy services

- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable taking responsibility

- Robust customer service and problem solving skills

- availability for evening and weekend shifts
