At Peninsula ERH, we pride ourselves on combining advanced medicine with genuine teamwork. We believe the best patient outcomes come from clinicians who enjoy working together, sharing knowledge, and supporting one another every day.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

- Working collaboratively with surgery, emergency and referral clinicians
- Establishing and growing the Internal Medicine service under your leadership
- Contributing to continuing education and, as the service grows, mentoring interns and residents

This role offers significant clinical autonomy while providing the support of an experienced specialist team and excellent nursing staff.

Requirements

- Board-certified diplomate of the ACVIM or ECVIM-CA, or fellowship of the ANZCVS in Small Animal Medicine.
- Eligible for, or willing to pursue, registration in Victoria, with our support
- Driven by Peninsula ERH’s values of integrity, excellence, community, and genuine care

Why Join Us?

- Remuneration: Package reflects your experience, qualifications and leadership,

plus 12% employer superannuation/pension contributions
- Leave: Generous annual leave, study leave and paid parental leave
- CPD and study: CPD allowance and board exam support where applicable
- Flexibility: Shape the service around your style and the wider specialist team, with roster and team structure yours to build
- Relocation support: Dedicated immigration assistance throughout the visa process, relocation support tailored to individual and family circumstances, and guidance through the Australian veterinary registration process
- Wellbeing & Culture: Access to mental health and Employee Assistance Programs, employee benefits, and a culture that values collaboration, professional growth, and work-life balance
- Growth: Access to the wider VetPartners Specialty Network for mentorship, research collaboration, multidisciplinary specialist support and professional networking
